Trekking is almost like meditation! It brings you peace, bliss and clarity that nothing else can provide. It makes you aware of every sensation, teaches you that you need little to survive and most of all it opens us to the abundant flora and fauna of this beautiful Earth!
If there is any trail that is mesmerizing and can ease you into trekking and hiking, it has to be the Triund Trek. It’s almost surreal because after doing this trek, you will know why people from all over the world are left awestruck with the beauty and bliss experienced in the Himalayas!

Accommodation is provided in Waterproof Good Quality Tents. We also provide Sleeping bags, Ground Mattress etc.

The Triund Trek is an amazing trek in the sense that it has everything! Plains, steep slopes, winding paths through the Oak forests, the picturesque snow capped mountains and of course a stunning view of the Kangra valley!
This trek shows you the grandeur of the Himalayas and it’s various ecosystem in just an 18km trek!
The Trek trail is busy during the weekends because it’s perfect for a weekend gateway. So we recommend that you plan this trek during weekdays so that you get a quieter and peaceful experience.
If you are a winter person and take up this trek during the Winter months, you may also get to see a little Himalayan snow on your way.
But if you want to see the splendid green forest and lush green valley then spring is the best season to experience that. It also less cold during the spring which is an added advantage since you don’t have to carry as many warm clothes.
Mcleodganj is a suburb of Dharamshala. Dharamshala is quite a famous spot in Himachal Pradesh. Hence it is well connected to Delhi as well as Chandigarh.
Flight- The nearest airport is Gaggal Airport which is 13km away from Dharamshala.
Train- The nearest railway station from Dharamshala is the Pathankot station which is 85km away. You can take a cab to reach Dharamshala.
Bus- Both state and private buses run to and from Dharamshala.
We would recommend you to pack light and carry individual backpacks. They should contain things that are absolutely necessary because you are supposed to carry your backpack up the hill for at least 3-4 hours.

P.S. – We would appreciate if you do not bring any single use plastic items for the trip. The mountains have a delicate ecosystem which needs to be protected, hence refrain from disposing off any waste on the Trek. Make sure you bring all your waste to the city and then dispose it off.
